Spring is here!

Spring is finally here and Don and I have been trying to get out more on the weekends when we are not busy with homework. A couple weekends ago we went to do some book shopping and found these pretty trees blooming on the street.

After our shopping we went to a baseball game. The LG Twins were playing the Doosan Bears. It was a pretty good game but definitely different than going to a game at home. There are no ballpark dogs here, instead you have your choice of dried squid or a pre-made bag of KFC with cold sandwiches. All of which is found outside the stadium. The fans get really excited and there are cheerleaders.

Last weekend we went to an area called Yeouido which is near the Han river. There is a pretty big park there and we walked around for a while. There were some pretty trees blooming, but it made us homesick for real nature. Oh well, I guess a few trees surrounded by skyscrapers will have to do for now.
