Trip to Toronto for E2 Visa interview

We are home from our trip to Toronto. We left yesterday morning and drove to Toronto, we parked at Yorkdale Mall and Subwayed it down to the Consulate which is about a five minute walk from St. Clair station. The Consulate is a beautiful historical building!

We arrived at 2:30 and our interview was scheduled for 3. They ask everyone to come in at the same time, there were about 12 of us. We waited and were the last to be interviewed, but we were still out of there by 4:40. The interview itself was only about 2 minutes, maybe shorter. I was first and the interviewer asked me to state my name, date of birth, and address, he asked if I had any teaching experience and why I chose Korea and if I could get used to the Korean culture; that was it! Don's interview was even shorter. He was asked for his name, date of birth and address too but then he was just asked for his occupation, I guess saying you are a supply teacher is enough information for them. Once we left the interview room our visas were ready within a minute and we were on our ways back to the car. All in all everything ran very smoothly.

So we are all ready to go, just have to pack, pack pack!!
